One thing that Coach Jesyka Nolte wants to improve on for this volleyball season at Melcher-Dallas is blocking. The Saints had just 38 blocks last season led by Grace Overgaard at 21. Nolte tells KNIA Sports her along with a few other girls have the capability of switching that around to being dominating at the net. The Saints ranked in the bottom half of the Bluegrass Conference last season in blocks and Nolte says that needs to change if they want to challenge for a top spot in the conference.
