While there are no stakes, the Pella Christian football team will get to compete against another team tonight at their annual scrimmage. The Eagles welcome long-time sports rival Des Moines Christian to Eagle Lane for a scrimmage at 6:30 p.m. Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski says coming in to this summer, they had a lot of key strengths, especially along the offensive line, and going against another team’s scheme with a first team will get them more ready for the intense early half of the schedule. Admission to this evening’s scrimmage is sports drinks to use for the football season.
