The summer reading programs at the Pella Public LIbrary have concluded. Youth Services Librarian Katie Dreyer says they had a significant boost in participation in their reading challenges and special events held. Dreyer says they provide a wide range of literacy activities throughout the summer to bolster opportunities for children in the community to stay engaged in reading.
