Indianola youth continue to earn awards in the various contests and competitions at the 2019 Iowa State Fair, with Brooklyn Sedlock earning a triple first place finish in the Sweet Goods. Sedlock earned the top spot in the Youth Breads and Rolls category, Quick Breads, and Honey Creations, while also being named the overall winner for youth entries and a tied winner for the sweepstakes award. Sedlock also earned awards in the Vegetable Growing competition, taking home a first place finish in the Snap Green Beans category, and second in the Sweet Purple Peppers category. The Iowa State Fair ended on August 18th.
