The Indianola City Council met in regular session Tuesday evening. Mayor Kelly Shaw performed the swearing in ceremony for three new employees, Paramedic/Firefighter Eric Wallace, and Police Officers Tye Sparks and Dalton Ebertowski. The council heard a presentation from Warren County Supervisor Aaron DeKock on the status of the Warren County Justice Center Project and the future options the board may take. The council approved a sign exemption request from Greater Iowa Credit Union, approved the construction of public improvements for the 2019 Drainage Improvement Project, approved a resolution supporting the Boone, Jasper, Marion, and Warren Counties’ Housing Trust Fund, and approved the hiring of seasonal employees to assist with snow plowing operations before going into closed session to discuss the sale or purchase of real estate and to discuss litigation.
