The Indianola YMCA is continuing to offer their fall slate of swimming lessons, including classes for kids and adults, and a combined class called Waterbabies for parents to bring their young children in to acclimate them to water. Executive Director of the Indianola YMCA Heather Hulen tells KNIA News the expanded programs and staff will also include more private lessons.

“We have a new swim lesson coordinator, someone who specifically oversees these programs. She will be bringing in some more one-on-one lessons, and of course expanding those classes with the young kids and Waterbabies so they can expand their water safety skills and get more comfortable with water.”
