The PCM Mustangs got their first road win of the year taking down the Norsemen of Roland Story 19-6 Friday Night in Story City. The Mustangs would give up a big play in the first quarter that would lead to a Norsemen touchdown before Jacob Van Winkle would make momentum shifting touchdown grab with 3.3 seconds left in the first half to tie the game 6-6 at half. Van Winkle would find the endzone again on a 35 yard reverse to put the Mustangs up 13-6 in the third quarter. PCM would add a 5 yard touchdown run from Sage Burns in the 4th quarter and would move on to 2-1 on the year with the win. The Mustangs will next take on the Pella Christian Eagles who are still looking for their first win of the season. Head Coach Greg Bonnett says his guys can’t take the 0-3 Eagles lightly. Bonnett says the Eagles have played some juggernauts to open the season and if his guys aren’t ready the Eagles could hit them in the mouth and make for a long game. The Mustangs and Eagles will hit the field next Friday night on PCM’s new field for the first game held at their new athletic complex
