A Pella dispatcher was recognized as the public safety person of the year in Marion County. Kaci Visser was honored at the Public Safety Night Out held on September 11th for her efforts, as selected by peers in Warren County. Visser says she’s humbled to receive the recognition when there are so many qualified individuals in the county. Her supervisor, Marcia Slycord, says Visser represents a true professional first responder, who does all she can to make sure help gets to where it needs to go efficiently.
