The Knoxville Cross Country Squads will head to Newton for a run today. The Panthers and everyone else will be greeted with much better weather conditions than last week when temperatures were in the mid 80s with high humidity. The Panthers will see several larger schools and a few rated teams at Westwood Golf Course in Newton. Boys Coach Michael Splavec tells KRLS Sports he is excited to see what his guys can do this week with two meets and seeing that they have overachieved in most of their meets. The Panthers will run at Newton today, then Thursday run at the PCM Invitational, where they have been successful the past few seasons.
