pleasantville-3

The Pleasantville volleyball team was looking for a bounce-back win Thursday evening as they hosted Woodward-Granger in West Central Conference action. The Trojans were unable to get it done, suffering a deflating 3-set sweep to the visiting Hawks, 25-23, 25-15, 25-10. The loss drops Pleasantville to 12-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play, and they’ve lost back-to-back games for the first time this season. Woodward-Granger climbs up the leaderboard with a record of 4-2. The Trojans will have a long break before their next game. They’ll return to action next Saturday, October 12th, at a tournament at Martensdale-St. Marys.
