Local marching bands are hoping the rain will hold off this afternoon and evening as they travel to one of Iowa’s largest competitions today. Pella, Knoxville, Indianola, and PCM will all travel to the Urbandale Marching Invitational. Gates will open at 2:45 p.m. and the Invitational will begin at 3:30 p.m. The Marching Mustangs are scheduled to begin at 3:47, Knoxville at 6:13, Pella at 7:21, and Indianola at 8:32 p.m.
