trunk-treats

The Knoxville Optimist Club will hold their annual “Treats In The Trunk” event on Saturday, October 26th at the Knoxville City Parking Lot across the street from the Knoxville Police Department. The first 100 children who participate will receive a free pumpkin. Craig Kelly with the Optimist Club tells KNIA/KRLS News the event allows children, especially younger children to have fun and to trick or treat in a safe environment while also playing some games. Kelly says candy and games will be provided by over 50 Knoxville organizations taking part in the event. The KNIA/KRLS “Lil” Big Red Radio will be on hand playing music, making announcements and handing out candy. To hear the complete interview with Kelly, tune in to today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
