pleasantville-3

The Pleasantville Trojans will make their final road trip of the regular season this evening when they visit Woodward-Granger in Week 7 action. The Trojans are 4-2 overall and 1-1 in Class 1A District 7. Pleasantville enters coming off a blowout loss on the road to Pella Christian, 54-13, and will be looking for redemption. The Trojans find themselves in a must-win situation in order to stay alive in the district race.

Woodward-Granger is 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the district. They defeated Woodward Academy 60-6 last week in what was officially an away game, though the two schools share the same stadium. A lot is on the line as the Hawks still control their own destiny toward a district title. Pleasantville Head Coach Mack Jorth says their opponents play a similar style of football, and they’ll need to be ready for a different type of test than they’ve faced recently.

Tonight’s game between the Trojans and Hawks will be broadcast on the KNIA3 stream at KNIAKRLS.com with Jon Mohwinkle and Ron Danks on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30, with the opening kickoff at Hawk Stadium in Woodward set for 7:00.
