The first round of the boys golf fall state tournament starts today, with Indianola sending Tom Krapfl to compete after he qualified on Tuesday. Krapfl shot a 75 earlier this week to qualify and tells KNIA Sports there is a family connection to beat at the state meet, as his brothers were on the team and have made appearances at the, so obviously he wants to do well. The state meet is held at the Tournament Club of Iowa today and tomorrow, with a start time of 10:30am today, and a champion will be crowned tomorrow afternoon.
