
A week from today the Rotary Club of Knoxville will hold its 3rd annual End Polio Fundraiser Dinner on Wednesday, October 23rd from 5:30 to 8PM at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in Knoxville. The meal with a donation included is $30 and is catered by Carpenter Hall in Chariton. Rotary continues to raise funds to eradicate polio, and sends multiple teams of Rotarians, doctors, nurses, and the vaccination to countries all over the world. Rotary has been working with many organizations since the mid-80s. Today Rotary, governments, UNICEF, and the Gates Foundation, which gives $2 for every $1 raised, raises funds to continue working to vaccinate children worldwide with the hopes to eradicate Polio completely. Rotary Club of Knoxville’s End Polio Fundraiser Dinner leads up to World Polio Day on Thursday, October 24th.
