A week from today the Knoxville Public Library will host their first Friends of the Library Book Sale at their newly renovated and expanded library. The book sale will be held October 24th, 25th and 26th. The book sale will be held in the library’s Community Room with hardcover books for sale for $2 dollars each, the soft cover books go for a dollar each, and kids books are between 25 and 50 cents. On Saturday, October 26th attendees will be able to fill a bag of books for between $2 to $5. The sale will run from noon to 8 pm on October 24th, 10am to 5 pm on the 25th and 10 am to noon on the 26th.  Proceeds from the sale are used by the Friends of the Library to help pay for things the library needs throughout the year that are not already budgeted for.
