It is the final game of the 2019 season for the Knoxville Football Squad. While the Panthers’ playoff hopes ended a few weeks ago, they still have plenty to play for. With a win, Knoxville can get its sixth win on the season, something that has not happened since 2005. The Panthers will also be playing for head coach Eric Kellar…who is serving a one game suspension for getting ejected in last week’s loss to Oskaloosa. Assistant Coach Chris Hudson tells KRLS Sports the guys will be ready for their final game. A couple records could be set tonight as well. With his next interception, Keegan Cox can break a 41 year old record for the most picks in a season. Randy Rogers, who established that record in 1978 and Cox are currently tied with seven. Also, the team interception total could fall as Knoxville currently has 14 picks…and needs four to tie the 1990 team’s total of 18. Listen to the action on 95.3 KNIA with Turner Devore and Derek Cardwell at 6:30.
