The Indianola Chamber of Commerce and Indianola Parks and Rec hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new session of free Indoor Play Dates. Afton Bradley with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News having a free place for parents and grandparents to bring their kids is great because Parks and Rec wants them to play, socialize, and burn some energy. Bradley also said Indoor Play Dates are sponsored by Peoples Bank, and it shows that the community really cares about the youth and younger families in the area. The Indoor Play Dates are Wednesdays from 10:30 am – noon for kids age one through pre-K along with a supervising adult.
