The Pella School Board will begin the budget process and planning for the next academic year at their meeting today (Monday). The board will set a date to determine the next school calendar and for a School Budget Review Committee Application, which is needed to request additional spending authority for increased students in both open enrollment and in-district residents. Council will also review the certified enrollment number for this school year, which determines per-pupil funding for the next fiscal year. The Pella School Board meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Pella High School main office conference room.
