The Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Foundation’s 14th annual Gala is this week. The gala will be held Saturday at the National Guard Armory in Knoxville from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. This year the hospital is going back to the 80’s with the hospital encouraging attendees to wear their best 80’s attire to the event. If attendees do not wish to dress up, the gala is a casual attire event. Kevin Stittsworth with the Hospital tells KNIA/KRLS News This year’s gala will also include different prize giveaways including a “Press Your Luck for a Chance to Getaway” drawing which features four different vacation packages. The vacation packages include a classic Wrigley Field rooftop experience, a Disney World family adventure, a New York long weekend and a sip and soar through Napa Valley in a hot air balloon. Tickets for the gala are $75 per person with all proceeds going towards the hospitals surgery and emergency expansion project.
