A tall task awaits the young Pella volleyball team in round two of the Class 4A regional volleyball playoffs as they hit the road to take on No. 8 Marion. The Lady Dutch closed out the Pella High School gym until winter sports with a 3-1 win over Washington last Wednesday; the rated Indians were afforded the top seed in the region and started with a bye. Pella will have to handle several threats from the Marion offense; senior Delaney Rice is averaging 3.53 kills per set with a .342 kill efficiency, both of which rank among the top 20 among individuals in 4A, and four other players average more than a kill per set. Opening serve on the road for Pella begins at 7 p.m. in Marion.
