The Indianola volleyball team took Southeast Polk the distance in Tuesday night’s regional semifinal contest, but eventually fell in five sets 3-2. The Indians took set one 25-18, fell behind in set two 12-15 and nearly came back but the Rams tied it up with a 20-25 win. Southeast Polk would win in set three 20-25 to take a 2-1 set advantage, but the Indians dominated set four 25-13 to force the deciding fifth set. The Indians kept the game close throughout, but Southeast Polk maintained a 4 point lead throughout the latter half of the match eventually falling 10-15. The Indians season comes to a close with a 27-18 record, and they will graduate four seniors.
