Four new members will enter the Knoxville High School Athletic Hall of Fame in January as announced by the selection committee. This year’s inductees include Brian Hiemstra, class of 1996, a defensive back for the Panthers, he was named second Team All-State as a junior, and first Team all State for his Senior season. Mike Stults, class of 1994, was a four year standout in cross country and track. Stults was a three time All-State runner in cross country, finishing as state runner-up in his senior year, and was state champion in the 800 meter run in his junior season. Elizabeth (Haning) Hadler, class of 1984, was a standout in four sports, earning All Conference Honors in each.  She was named All-State in volleyball for two years, and was a state place winner in tennis. Graham Fee, class of 1957, was a three year starter at quarterback for the Panthers, helping them to a 9-0 record in 1954, and is best known to Knoxville fans as the “Voice of the Panthers,” having spent 42 years as the public address announcer at Ken Locke Stadium. The Induction ceremonies will be Friday January 17th in between the Knoxville vs. Clarke basketball games at the Knoxville High School Gym.
