The Indianola boys golf team sent senior Tom Krapfl to compete at the state meet this fall season, but will look to the younger golfers to help keep the team at a competitive level. Head Coach Gene Capps tells KNIA News class 4A is not an easy place to play, but the squads history can help build that culture as there is a lot of young talent coming through the ranks and the Indianola Country Club does a fantastic job of developing it. The Indians also relied on freshman Jackson Overton and Preston Bily to perform at the varsity level, leading to a bright future.
