The Simpson Storm men’s soccer team’s season came to a close this week after falling to Loras in the semifinals of the American Rivers Conference Tournament. The Storm took down Wartburg on their home field in the quarterfinals, but fell behind the Duhawks 3-0 in the first half, leading a deficit too large to overcome in a 3-1 defeat. Jordy Triana-Vasquez put in the only Storm goal in the second half, as the Storm season comes to a close with a 16-4-2 overall record, and 5-2-1 conference record.
