The Central women’s basketball team begins the season on their home court this evening, hosting local rival Grinnell. The Dutch look to continue their rebuild with the bulk of its lineup returning this season. Central found themselves one spot away from a conference tournament berth last season, and will look to return to the six-team field for the first time since 2005.

While tonight’s game won’t mean much in the long run, fans will get to see what’s in store for the season ahead against a local foe. Tipoff between the Dutch and Pioneers is 6:00 this evening inside P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium.
