The Pella High School speech and drama club will present Almost, Maine for three shows next week. Actors Travis Mitchell and Colby Van Gorp say the play is comprised of short scenes that explore love and loss in a remote, mythical almost-town, and themes are a bit more mature than typical high school productions. Tickets cost $7 and are available at the door for the shows scheduled at 7 p.m. each evening from November 14th through the 16th at the Pella High School Auditorium. If the Pella football team advances to the UNI Dome, Thursday night’s show will become an afternoon matinee on the 16th.
