
A Knoxville man was arrested Monday following the report of the odor of marijuana coming from a residence in the 900 block of West Pleasant Street. According to court documents, at approximately 7 p.m. Monday evening law enforcement officers responded to a call of a strong odor of marijuana coming from an apartment in the 900 block of West Pleasant Street in Knoxville. A search warrant was issued for the residence and when officers executed the warrant they found 40-year-old Dustin Boomershine in the residence. During the investigation officers located multiple controlled substances. Boomershine was arrested and charged with seven counts of possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, possession of marijuana third or subsequent offense, an aggravated misdemeanor, and three counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs, a serious misdemeanor.
