A former Central College student-athlete has qualified for the 2020 Olympic Trials. 2014 graduate Austin O’Brien completed Saturday’s Indianapolis Monumental Marathon in 2 hours, 18 minutes and 38 seconds. The cutoff was 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 10 men qualified.

O’Brien was an All-American in both track and field and cross country while at Central, and was part of the 2014 national championship distance medley relay.

The Olympic Trials will take place on February 29, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia.
