The PCM girls basketball team finished 9-12 last season, and will look to make some strides this upcoming season. The Mustangs have a good nucleus coming back, as they return three of last year’s top five scorers. Regan Freland was the second leading scorer in the Heart of Iowa last year with 15.6 points per game, and returns for her senior season.

PCM finished fifth in a very talented Heart of Iowa Conference last year. They’ll get an early chance for a couple of wins as they head to a tournament in Newton on Saturday.
