UPDATE:
One person is dead following a fire in a mobile home in Hamilton early Monday morning. Just after 3 a.m. Monday morning the Marion County Sheriff’s Officer received a report of a residential structure fire at 829 East Street in rural Hamilton, IA. Upon arrival, crews fought the fully engulfed residence for approximately 45 minutes before locating a female in the south end of the home. Rhonda Kiler, 56, of Hamilton, was pronounced deceased on scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Fire Marshall’s Office and the ATF. Agencies responding included: Bussey Fire Department, Indiana Township Fire Department, Lovilia Fire and Rescue, the Marion County Medical Examiner Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Fire Marshall’s Office, and the ATF.

The Bussey Fire Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and possibly other agencies responded to the scene.
