The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Monday. Mayor Kelly Shaw will administer the Oath of Office to Paramedic/Firefighter Jeremy Cross, and the council will discuss the upcoming vacancy of the City Clerk position after the upcoming retirement of Diana Bowlin. The council will also hear a presentation from Terry Pauling regarding a project on the fence surrounding the downtown square, discuss changing the city policy regarding the time a property owner is required to remove snow, ice or accumulations from the sidewalk, and discuss budget prioritizations for the next year. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
