A local non-profit providing physical and tangible needs for foster and adoptive children and families in the surrounding area received a boost last week from a local organization and Pella and Pella Christian students.
Diane Mitchell and Jamie Chapman with Kadens Kloset: Pella say they received a $4700 check from 100+ Men on a Mission Red Rock, donations of items from sixth graders at Jefferson Intermediate School, and a commitment from Pella Christian Grade School for support all this week.
“Kadens Kloset is a ministry for kids who are in foster care,” Mitchell says. “Often times, kids will enter foster care with just the clothes on their back. So this is an outreach for those kids that will provide them all the clothes that they need, backpacks, school supplies, diapers for babies, formula…we’re a resource for the foster family as well.”
