The Trojans Girls basketball team will make the trip to Twin Cedars tonight, to take on the Sabers in a non-conference match up. The Trojans are coming into the game at 2-0 as they look to make it a 3-0 start to the season. Through the first two games the Trojans have been led in points by sophomore Adi Adreon. When asked about the strategy heading into games this season, Head Coach Jeff Cook was confident in his game plan.
“We’re going to start off trying to press them and see if we can or not, I’ve told my girls you can press bad teams all the time, you can press good teams part of the time, and you cannot press really good teams at all, because they’re going to make you pay”
The Sabers are looking for their first win, after they suffered a road loss to Orient-Macksburg High school to open the season. Tip off is at 6pm tonight, at the Twin Cedars High School Gymnasium.
