The Indianola Light Up the Square Holiday Event is tomorrow, inviting Indianola and area residents to visit downtown Indianola and see lighted, stationary floats around the square. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News with all the changes to the square due to the courthouse project, and the fact that there will be less light on the inside of the square this year it seemed like a good idea to change the parade and make it more of a walking around the square event. Santa will be present, with other kids activities going on, and attendees can also bring a non-perishable food item to donate. The Light Up the Square event will take place from 6-8pm. The KNIA Big Red Radio will be on the square playing holiday music.
