Construction and renovation is complete at the The Helping Hand of Warren County, allowing donations to now be taken on the East side of the building. Executive Director Sue Wilson tells KNIA News the effort to make sure no one goes hungry in Warren County comes from not just one person or organization, but from the entire community including local businesses and volunteers. The Helping Hand is currently in need of cereal, canned soup, cake mix, applesauce, canned vegetables, and canned chicken, as well as monetary donations. The Helping Hand is open Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:30pm, Thursday and Saturday from 9am to 11am, and new hours on the third and fourth Wednesday of each month from 6 to 7:30pm.
