The Indianola Noon Lions Club is hosting a children’s store today in conjunction with the Light Up the Square Event in Indianola. Rick Wilson with the Indianola Noon Lions Club tells KNIA News the store allows children to pick out a gift to give to a parent, grandparent, or other relative or family friend, and always ends up being a huge hit with local families. The children’s store will be hosted at the KNIA Studio on the downtown Indianola square on the corner of Ashland and Howard from 6-8pm. Also in the KNIA Studio this evening, Indianola Girl Scouts are hosting a cake sale to fundraise for summer activities. Those visiting the Light Up the Square event and Children’s Store can bid on cakes baked and decorated by the Indianola Girl Scouts.
