The Indianola downtown square was filled for the Light Up the Square event Friday evening, with lighted floats parked around the square and activities hosted by local businesses. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News attending an event such as this can be a lasting memory for families, one that brings people together and reminds them how great the community in Indianola really is. Activities included performances by the Indianola Dance Academy, a Santa’s workshop hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus, Bingo, live music, and a Nite Glow by the Indianola Balloon Classic. The KNIA Big Red Radio was on location playing holiday music.
