Webb Shadle Memorial Library will host a Children’s Holiday Party tomorrow morning. Director of the Library JoEllen Glick tells KNIA/KRLS News the party will begin at 10 a.m. and feature Mrs. Claus who will read a special story. Glick says there will be craft activities in the east room as well as a special table set aside for children to write letters to Santa and put in a special mailbox for express delivery. Tomorrow will also be the last day the library will be accepting toy donations for the Christmas Toy Drive being conducted by the library and the city of Pleasantville. Anyone wishing to participate in the toy drive can drop off their unwrapped toy at the library or at Pleasantville City Hall located at 108 West Jackson Street. Toys donated will go to Crossroads in Pella and be distributed to those who are in need.
