Marion County Bank’s halftime entertainment at last week’s Pella vs. Pella Christian basketball games earned the schools a $3,175 donation from Marion County Bank.
Students from both schools worked together in the event by shooting layups, free throws, three pointers and half court shots to earn a donation. The winnings will be split evenly between the two schools. Marion County Bank thanks the eight students that participated. Since 2007, over $110,000 has been given to Pella Community High and Pella Christian High from Marion County Bank during the halftime events. The next Marion County Bank halftime shootout will be Friday, January 24 when Pella Christian and Pella meet up again.
