Indianola Parks and Rec is offering discounted plans and gift certificates on certain items during the holiday season. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the swim passes are always popular.

“We do this every year for families. Often times Grandma or another relative wants to buy pool passes for their grandkids or whoever for next summer, and we can set that all up for you at a discounted price and we’ll even give you a gift certificate so you can put it in a stocking.”

Kester also said the Parks and Rec office is selling discounted tickets to the Think Spring Garden Seminar to be held the last weekend in February.
