The PCM Mustang girls and boys basketball teams will make the long haul to Jefferson tonight for a showdown with the Greene County Rams. The Mustang girls will look to get back in the win column after dropping their last two, to North Polk and Gilbert. The Mustangs who come into tonight’s contest with only senior Regan Freland averaging in double points offensively will look to get other scores involved against a Rams squad who is giving up over 72 points per game defensively including back to back 85 point showings.
The PCM boys will also look to get back into the win column tonight as they take on a Ram squad with just one win on the season. If the Mustangs want to have success tonight they will need to slow down senior Ram Carter Morton who comes in averaging over 17 points per game including a 29 point performance in his last outing against North Polk. The Mustangs and the Rams will get things tipped off from Jefferson with the girls game first at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow.
