Those dreaming of a White Christmas are likely out of luck this year. National Weather Service Meteorologist Andrew Ansorge says an unusual period of warm temperatures is expected over the next several days, including Christmas day. Ansorge says a White Christmas is usually about a 50-50 chance annually, according to the most recent climate data available, and requires an inch of snow on the ground on December 25th. Ansorge says there’s a slight chance for precipitation late on Christmas Day, but no significant snowfall is expected at this time. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS for the latest weather information.
