The Pella Hy-Vee and 92.1 KRLS partnered to raise funds for the Pella Community Food Shelf and the food pantries of south central Iowa. A special tip event was held on Thursday, with on-air personalities and staff from 92.1 KRLS bagging groceries and bringing them out to vehicles in exchange for donations to the Pella Community Food Shelf and the annual KNIA/KRLS Food Drive. Donation boxes are still placed in the checkout aisles today for those who couldn’t attend during the event. KNIA/KRLS staff also assisted at the Knoxville Hy-Vee last week.

The Pella Hy-Vee will have reindeer at the store this evening from 5 to 7.
