Despite each sporting two conference losses to begin the season, both the Pella and Pella Christian boys basketball teams remain in the hunt for the Little Hawkeye Conference crown. Dallas Center-Grimes is 3-0 to start league competition, but has yet to play both Tulip City teams, Norwalk, and Indianola in their first rotation. Those four teams have all now played each other, with the Warriors and Indians at 2-1 and Pella and Pella Christian are 1-2. Both the Dutch and Eagles will have Oskaloosa, Grinnell, and Norwalk to start 2020, as well as current leader DCG.

The Little Hawkeye Conference features all teams playing twice in a season, so all teams will have a chance to avenge early season losses. League play will resume on Tuesday, January 7th, when Pella hosts Newton and Pella Christian hosts Grinnell.
