With the season half way over, the Melcher-Dallas Saints are right in the middle of the pack of the Bluegrass Conference, sitting in 6th. The Saints are 4-4 and currently right behind Moravia at 5-3, and Murray. 

Leading the conference is Lamoni at 7-1, in second place Ankeny Christian at 4-1, and following in third is Seymour at 6-2.

Assistant Coach Pat Ferguson says the team has played well despite a 0-3 start to the season.

“Our first three games were against three very good opponents in Pleasantville, ACA, and Lamoni, those are three very good teams, right now were playing teams that are a little more comparable to us, and were taking care of business, and that’s what we plan on doing”

 The Saints already beat Seymour 81-61 before the break and will play them again January 7th, following their first game back from winter break against Murray, on Monday, January 6th.
