Indianola and Warren County Hometown Pride are hosting a workshop on grant writing in January, in conjunction with the Carlisle, Milo, Norwalk, and New Virginia Hometown Pride organizations. The event is for anyone who needs money for a project or organization and is interested in pursuing grants, and is for both beginners and those who have submitted grants before. The workshop will be taught by Jane Colacecchi, a professional grant-writer with decades of experience writing and managing grants, and will give you practical tips on how to put together a successful application, and how to avoid common mistakes. The grant writing workshop, titled How to Write A Winning Grant, will take place on Monday, January 13th in Indianola, at Salem Connection located at 222 W Salem Avenue off the downtown Indianola square.
