Indianola Parks and Recreation and the Indianola YMCA are jointly hosting the Family Fun Night celebration tomorrow evening, inviting children and parents to come and enjoy the facilities together. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News last year the event was known as the Mother-N-Son Night-O-Fun, but some feedback after the event made it clear that it should be open to all families, whether it is parents, grandparents, or family friend joining kids at the event. Adults and children ages 5-12 who have pre-registered are invited to participate in activities together such as dodgeball, NERF wars, an inflatable obstacle course, a selfie station, swimming in the pool, and giant trike races.
