
The Pella City Council is holding a public hearing to award a contract for wastewater treatment plant upgrades at their meeting this evening. Council will review bids for a project mandated by the Iowa DNR to renovate the current facility. Additionally, the council will hold a public hearing to amend an agreement for private development with Harvest Investments for a housing cooperative project at Bos Landen for those over the age of 55. Council will also review resolutions awarding a contract for the next phase of the city’s sidewalk repair project, setting a public hearing to award a contract for the Pella Municipal Airport wildlife fence project, and an engineering services agreement for a water main extension along Fifield Road. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7:00 this evening in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
