The Indianola High School Academic Decathlon team earned a sixth place finish in the Des Moines Regional Competition Tuesday, scoring a total of 23,758 points.
Individual honors were awarded to the following students:
Noah King – varsity second place in economics, varsity third place math
Paige Huntley – scholastic second place economics, scholastic first place interview, scholastic overall second place
Nautica Frye – scholastic third place in math, scholastic third place in music
Jillian Norton – varsity third place social science
Anja Waugh – honors third place speech
Fifteen teams competed in the regional competition.
